How much weight loss to aim for

I'm down to the last 10 kg to lose what should I be aiming to lose per week I'm a male 172 cm 77 kg go to the gym 5 days a week 2 days weights 2 days cardio 1 day hit I'm eating 1600 caps a week and losing 1 kg a week atm some people have told me to slow down the weight loss to half a kg a week to preserve muscle is that true thanks for the replies
