Faulty MFP notifications?

I only get notifications for comments on posts made in this forum. I never get any on posts made by myself or friends on our own profiles. It makes it impossible to follow any conversation there. Is this true for everyone else too, or is it my crappy "smart" phone?

P. S. Never buy a Motorola. Stick with Samsung.
