I Just Found This Community...

Hi all,

I've been an active member of MyFitnessPal for about 2 months now. I started using MFP when I got my Garmin Vivosmart HR. But I've maintained a food diary on various apps over the last couple years. I'm aiming to gain weight, preferably muscle but I probably could use some healthy body fat too. My problem is mostly the high metabolism I've had all my life. I have also been a vegetarian for the last 3 years, which I've recently converted back to eating meat because I need to gain weight.
I'm an avid disc golfer, I take long walks, and I swim once in a while (need to more). I have a chronic hip problem so I'm not supposed to do any high impact exercise. Also have become physically weak from a history of mental health issues, which I've finally been able to overcome this year.
Would love to meet some people in the central Iowa area like I am. Otherwise I'm open to meeting people in general.
I don't have time or energy for discouragement in my life anymore. So, if you can't abide by that then please don't bother me. I'm open to constructive feedback but I'm not looking to get berated.
I'll probably treat you with respect no matter.

Anyways, I'm laying in bed and it's 0130 (am) here, so I may not respond right away but I just can't sleep so who knows...
