Hi, All!

My name is Katheryn - I used to be a chronic yoyo dieter but I lost 40 pounds and am now a health coach, specifically for women who feel like they've tried everything and are frustrated.

Back when I was overweight, I took a trip to Tokyo and expressed my concerns (complained*) to my roommate about how Japanese women can eat rice and noodles and still be slim. She said to me, "you should probably take a bath." I was like uhhh...do I stink?! I thought I was talking about weight loss...

But then, I found out that hot baths help your body with circulation and detox, which helps with weight regulation. That was all it took for me to get into studying lifestyle, because in the West there is a lot of scientific information but less understanding of the actual application.

My clients have been telling me that MFP has been great so I'm here to learn more about tracking and understand how it's been benefiting them and how to use it in conjunction with their progress.
