So i havr lost 1st 9lb (yay) with 1st 10lb left to go

I am now 12st 3 at 5'5

I put my goal weight as 10 and a half st as it is on the high end of healthy BMI but seeing how much smaller I look now im worried another 1st 10 may look so extreme.

Should i follow the bmi goal or increase my goal weight to 11st?

What would you think if I told you it didn't matter? That many, if not most, MFPers end up moving to the "I'll know when I see it in the mirror" method once they get down to a healthy weight zone?

I would leave it as is and reassess at the 11st mark if you're happy or if your initial thought was correct. I think so many people get so used to be surrounded with overweight people and being overweight themselves that being an appropriate weight looks "too thin" in comparison when in reality it looks fine and its a mental block. Give it time and see, congrats on your losses so far!

I agree with that! OP is currently ~171 lbs at 5'5, that can't look too thin. I also thought in the beginning 170-180 would be a good goal for me (I'm 5'11) - and now that I made it to 150 that just seems crazy high. I think sometimes you also just don't want to be disappointed if you can't make it in the end, but I would also suggest to just keep going, your brain will catch up with your new body and BMI is at least a rough marker for a healthy weight.
