Where you are in your journey makes all the difference

I find it so interesting (in my own life as well) that where you are in your journey can so greatly affect your attitude/outlook on yourself and your body.

For example, I have recently lost 100+lbs (still at least 35 to lose) and I feel great! My outlook is very positive and I walk with a spring in my step.

Yet . . . when I was at this weight years ago (when my weight was creeping up) I felt horribly fat and very negatively about myself and my body.

It just goes to show - it's all about your attitude!

Very true. I was thinking the other day about how many times I've "seen" a certain weight. I was contemplating the difference between seeing the number on the way up and seeing the number on the way down in relation to my emotional feelings about it. It's amazing how a number on the way up can be so demoralizing and heartbreaking yet the same number on the way down is invigorating and exciting.

I feel the same way. I haven't shown my legs in over 15 years and even when I was a young, perfect girl, I felt awful about my legs. Now I love them. I just wish it hadn't taken so long to get to this point!
