Racquetball Calories...

Does anyone have any idea how many calories an hour or racquetball might burn? I log it in Map My Fitness, where I track all of my exercise and it comes up with over 900 calories, which seems a bit high. Most other workouts- Swim, Bike and runs, seem pretty accurate through Map My Fitness.

Tough call. Perhaps you should think about investing in a HRM.1

Spark people, Livestrong and Mayo Clinic all have it at over 700 based on weight and how hard you play. Sounds pretty accurate to me. I've only played once or twice and I was drenched and the most tired after a sport I've ever been lol!!1

I play racquetball and according to my Garmin vivosmart, 900 is about right for about an hour of play. I agree it seems a little high...but depending on your weight and how hard you work, it's probably not too far off. I know when I play, I'm working hard the entire time and it's an awesome workout.1

Thanks everyone. Well, I guess it's a better workout than I thought. I'm certainly sweating and working the whole time!0
