Well, we have a large family (seven in the household at the moment, sometimes it's six or eight or nine, depending on the school calendar) so everything, but in particular:

    Any sort of fruit
Cheese, we go through cheese like crazy
Boxed cereal - don't even buy it most of the time because a box lasts about a day
Sliced bread - like cereal, I don't always buy this but it's inhaled in a day.
    Sliced meats
    Eggs - about 5-6 dozen a week.
Whey powder, we get 2x 2lb bottles each month and it's not enough.
    Milk - 2 or 3 gallons a week

Reall, I guess "food" is the answer to that question. For me personally, I am not sure as I've never lived alone, but think eggs and milk are what I'd go through quickly as I have the latte each day (8oz milk) and eggs are a go-to meal.

Greens...piles of greens. Buy them by the box/bag/head. I try to eat most of my dinners over a bowl of greens, including chili, stews, burgers, even things like Bolognese sauce. 2 cups of my Paleo chili in a bowl over 3 or 4 cups of spring mix is FILLING!
And grass-fed beef. So SO far superior to the supermarket crap that it's worth every extra penny per pound. I have a reputable local grower, and I can never go back.
And I have to agree with Yellen...MONEY!! Always...

Cottage cheese. I can only find it in a package with four servings in it, which is like two servings or less for me.

If we're talking really, REALLY fast... Cookie butter. It lasts approximately one hour after it gets through the front door. ;)

Otherwise... Bread, chicken breast, ground beef, and various types of cheese. We eat a lot of sandwiches around here.

sugar free ketchup and spinach. I go through a bag of spinach in 3 or 4 days and sugar free ketchup in like a week. I make my own cocktail sauce from the ketchup and I love shrimp so I go through it a lot. I need to start buying it in bulk if I can find it.
