Hey, how are you ? Im 5'3 155 lbs started at 163 it's been a week and a half since I lost that. I'm on a little weight loss journey again after reaching 120 I gained more than I ever have after my wedding. Now I'm losing it all but I wanna stay with my big butt and thighs (in muscle) should I just work out on machines strictly and forget cardio, maybe like 10 min every session but not too heavy on it... Is this good weight to keep my butt and thighs and start doing a lot of machines.. Right now I'm 155.. I'm gonna neglect the arms a little because I'll probably get swole if I do arms on just machines lol well that's all, let me know what you think and your ideas.. ❤️

Look into Strong Curves (glute based lifting program)
Not saying this will keep you from losing anything from your butt and thighs. If your in a deficit your body will decide were it takes the fat from. It is a good program that the main focus is building a butt.1 -
I have/had similar stats. Started 5'4", 163 with 44 inch hips. I lifted heavy and chose to get as lean as possible, which put me around 128. I lost my butt. But in order to build it back up with some muscle I ate in a surplus while lifting, put another 2 inches back on...It's a process. You definitely want to be lifting though. Strong Curves is a good glute program.1

Thank you! I bet it's a process, but one that's worth it0 -
Lose all the weight while eating enough protein and engaging in a progressive lifting program to retain what muscle you have. Then eat at a calorie surplus while continueing that progressive lifting though you'll want to focus on hypertrophy style lifting. Then rinse and repeat. That's one way that some people use.
But you can't spot keep what you've got while getting rid of what you don't want.1 -
