Lower Back DOMS?

This is probably a stupid question. But I did some strength exercise that supposedly targets the lower back (pilates swimmers, on a fitnessblender video). And now my lower back hurts a bit when it bends (when I sit or stand up). Is that DOMS? I know it's obvious that people get DOMS from exercising, especially when just starting, I'm just worried I guess, because I know the lower back is sort of a "fragile" area that injures easily.

DOMS is imflamation of the muscles due to unfamiliar stress. It can be an ache, actual pain, or some tightness whenever the muscle is stretched. Is it a manageable pain that's more so annoying than anything. Or do you feel as though you actually injured yourself? It's unlikely that DOMS would be focussed on a singular area rather more your entire lower back. If you can pinpoint the exact point of pain it may be more than that.

It sounds more like DOMS then. Thanks :) it is my entire lower back and it goes away for a while when I'm up and about. I only really feel it when I'm standing up or sitting down, (squating pretty much).

Sometimes it feels like the muscles stretch (and they hurt) and sometimes it feels kind of like that jelly feeling you get after working out. It's hard to describe the second one. It feels sort of "shaky". But that was just this morning when I got up.
