Extra sodium (water weight)+ extra food in your body (adds weight)

Not a big deal and is to be expected after you eat more than normal. Give it a couple days and I'm sure it will come right back off.

Real talk: what do you want us to say? Do you want us to say "Get back on the wagon, fatty fat fat"? or "It's ok girl, you'll lose it right away if you start taking green tea supplements like my friend does"?

If I ate something off plan and unplanned to the point where I called it a "binge," I'd be asking myself if my overall calorie goal was simply too low on average. Not every person or body can manage huge deficits every day on average without it leading to uncontrolled cravings and binges. I find I have to METICULOUSLY keep my deficit at 400-600 calories per day. If there's a day it's more than that, then you can be darn sure the next day I'll have HUGE cravings and urges.

daily fluctuation. I lost almost 2 lbs this morning, I'm sure I'll regain it by the evening, this is normal.

    1 pound is absolutely nothing.

I don't know your background but your profile says you are a yo-yo dieter. My suggestion is to settle in for a long ride, which will have ups and downs and standing stills. If you like to measure yourself every day, log it each time and make a graph so that you can see the overall trend. Focusing on one data point is useless.

    Wut?

I was +2.8 Thursday morning. But I know it's not meaningful because 1) I ate an estimated 1000 calories in excess of maintenance the night before (which I know because I logged it), 2) it's the result of really high sodium foods, and 3) it's just one data point. There is nothing more meaningless than a single data point for scale weight.

TL;DR - get back to work. Stop binging. Be patient.

LOL. I saved all my calories for one huge dinner at Hill Country BBQ a few weeks ago; I went from 110 to 117.5 and it was gone within two days. 1 pound is light work. I can "gain" that after one glass of water and a cup of coffee.
