I've told myself I could do videos on my own but now I'm debating whether I should hire a personal trainer. I'm waiting to finish up medicine so I can dedicate myself.

Weight loss is 90% in the kitchen. The best thing to spend your money on is a digital food scale. Track calories for weight loss, go to the gym for health and performance. Full disclosure, I have a personal trainer.3

I have a personal trainer, for now, as long as I can afford her. But, as WBB55 said, weight loss is more about food than movement. The trick to losing weight is to start, right now. Log your food. The trick to beginning to exercise is to START, right now. All you have to do is move--walk, dance. Jump up and down. You don't have to have a perfect plan for weight loss or exercise. To lose weight, follow MFP. To exercise, just MOVE your body. That's all there is too it. No magic formulas needed.3
