I realised a while ago I didn't actually have a hobby and so I'm taking up mountain climbing (not Everest) and camping (weather permitting)

Used to, but then I got a job I loved and stopped everything. Now that I'm retired, I need to get some hobbies. Seriously.
I used to just do any hobby that came to my mind, from pencil drawing to building small stuff. I was very creative.0 -
Hiking, exercising, reading, baking, gaming, collecting poetry, calligraphy, organizing my schedule/calendar/Pinterest and counseling others. I also do choir and theater when the cold season comes around.1
-
Playing guitar & singing!!!

I actually do enjoy reading, researching things that interest me, but I'm not one for sitting down with a huge book, got to be a readable size and non fiction0

I have a few hobbies.
I sing. Have weekly lessons with a great teacher and have done a few competitions and concerts. Am also in an amateur dramatics group that specialises in Gilbert and Sullivan opera's.
I am a volunteer newsreader for a local radio station.
I like to run as well and am a gamer as well.b0 -
I hunt down rather large pieces of paper that vaguely resemble a humanoid shape, which have obviously violated the "Rather Large Pieces of Paper Vaguely Resembling a Humanoid Shape" Act. When I find them, I shoot them. Usually after a hanging at the local shooting range.
I also play video games as well as board and card games. I also love fish and am hoping to talk the wife into allowing me to set up a nice, small (35-50 gallon) tank, in which I would put all sorts of lovely fresh water fish. And feed them occasionally, of course.
I did, for a brief period of time, take up cat juggling. But what with them having claws and me having an innate hatred for cats, I started having more extreme sport cat juggling (like over alligator pits during dinner time) and I was eventually shut down by the Fanatical Animal People Against Terrifying Torture Against Cat Kind (FAPATTACK for short) who attempted to shame me into stopping by posting one of my acts on YouTube.
Sadly (for them) it misfired and went viral, garnering over 11 million hits and dramatically increased adoptions for cats at local shelters across the country.
Lastly, I do on occasion, troll forums in MFP and leave ridiculous answers to random questions.
This has been one of those times.
Thank you for allowing me to indulge in one of my favorite hobbies!4
