Never had to try to lose weight before...advice?

So I've always been skinny. I had an eating disorder related to depression in middle/high school and barely ate. Well that all changed in college.
I'm 22 now and since having a stomach ulcer earlier this year, I've noticeably gained weight for the first time. I've never had to restrict my food before, so I guess I'm asking for any tips on self control!
Also, is this the turning point of my weight?! Lol I guess I'm getting older and can't eat whatever I want and barely exercise anymore!

Totally agree with your post.
to the OP unless you have medical issues that prevent you eating certain foods you can eat anything you want. It's just a matter of keeping within your caloric limit. If you want to lose the weight it's a simple matter of eating less calories then your body burns on a daily basis.
Self-control comes from within. No one can motivate you you have to do it yourself. Realize you're worth it.0
