I am so demotivated right now. May 16, 2013 i made the decision to shed 52 pounds. july 5, 2016 and here i am still having 28lbs to go. Why is it taking me so long. I just cant keep motivated throughout the year. I have a very busy schedule and find it hard to exercise most of the days. How do you guys manage on your hectic schedule days? Any kind of advise will be helpful.

I think you are awesome, you should see the positivity in what you've done so far and be proud because you are half the way there, just take a deep breath and clear your mind and start over, easily and steadily, and maybe try to change the routine do something else with what you eat or how you exercise, and the result will come, also accountability works magic, find a group or create one and cheer up! you sound a little bit upset and it's okay, but you have to stay positive and encouraged to keep going and get there, and hey you CAN do it in no time, I believe in you. Good luck!

Weight loss is much more about the CI verses CO. Basically looking to out exercise your diet is exhausting and futile so if you are struggling with a hectic schedule why not re-focus the effort into getting a food scale and really accurately tracking your intake to lose the last of the weight you desire. Please excuse this suggestion if that is something you already do...

You have done a great job nonetheless, it sounds as though you have maintained the initial loss so you must be eating at maintenance level, how about re-inputting you stats. into MFP, set yourself a new goal and aim to lose around .5 lb per week. You really only have a little to lose now, so the slower the better.

Maybe too you could re-think your stance on the exercise and how it is dragging you down and making you feel demoralized. Could you get in a walk at lunch, maybe get a Fitbit thingy and track your steps, perhaps joining a class is more up your alley or starting a lifting programme...Whatever inspires you.

Motivation is overrated IMO. You have shown that you have persistence and patience they will help you much more than fleeting motivation.

I believe you can do this last push if that is what you really want.

I wish you all the best.

Congrats on your success so far! :) This is not a race. You will get to your goal at the time that is right for you.
Do more of the things that work for you: get enough sleep, plan your day ahead of time, stock your kitchen with your foods, and so on.

First, if you fail to plan for success then your planning to fail. Nothing is going to come in due time just because... It doesn't work that way. Imagine not planning for retirement, hoping a magical unicorn will make it right one day.

You want results then you have to train like it...

    What's your ..
Work schedule like, provide detail start times end times
What do you do for a living
What gym do you go to
Workout routine day by day .. I need to know everything you do
Send your complete diet, what you eat for one week
    Any allergies?
Do you prefer anaerobic or aerobic exercise?
How tall are you and what's your weight ?
    What's your weight goal?

Give me the above and I will write you a plan for success

Remember, you want something in life; you go get ... People usually do things just because they read it or someone told them stuff their friend told them.

There are millions of excuses out there, and one reason why you get things done... because you want it.

There is no magical pill or excerice that's going to get anyone to that near perfect look or shape.

There is no question that what you want is totally achievable and when you get there you will never look back.

When you get to your goal, you will become your own competition that drives you ......along your journey you will sharpen your discipline skills which will shape your character.
