I don't want to starve myself but im just not hungry? Help!!! Any tips? Everything in my house seems to be terrible to eat. I need someone to help me with grocery shopping. -_- I'm new to this whole weight loss thing :/ I'm 5'11 and weigh 230 pounds. I am at my highest I've ever been and honestly I don't like it I just don't know how to go about doing it no one in my house is really supportive so I'm kind of on my own I could really use a support system.... I've been trying to watch what I'm eating but that only leaves me to not eat ..which makes me not hungry hardly ever anymore which kind of makes me starve and I don't want to starve because this is not healthy at all but I'm just not hungry ?

Help :(

Well, first off, what makes a food "terrible to eat"?

I suspect that might be the first step in figuring out the solution to this problem.

Take a deep breath and blow it out slowly.

Best piece of advice to give you is start small. Take 1 meal and cut the portion size of what you would normally eat in half.

You do not have to restrict certain foods (except for medical reasons)
Just take in less than you were eating before

It will not come off overnight, but remember you didn't put it on overnight either, so be oatient.

    You got this!

Eat what you have, but eat it within your calorie goal.

are you old enough to have your own minifridge/have the space/finances to support the electricity? (I only ask because it might be easier to go in your own fridge with good choices than looking in the main fridge. In terms of groceries where do you live? Im in Brooklyn so there are a lot of fruit stands around, and the produce is usually much cheaper there and fresher (no name fruits and veggies from closer farms as opposed to dole/name brands etc). I do that, or I shop when frozen vegetables are on sale in supermarkets. Supermarkets and the butcher will often have sales from time to time on chicken breast or london broil or beef shoulder etc. So its a way to get meats at a not so expensive price. This all depends on where you live though, as I know some people live in very small towns and have to go to walmart 50+ miles away, etc.

Can you find a support group, online or in person in your city/town so you can meet others who are also trying to lose weight? Feel free to add, am a supportive person. Good luck!
