Some simple additions make the salad yum yum yummy - mix all the veggies you like - greens, shredded cabbage, cucumber, celery, carrots, colored bell peppers. Two/more (to taste) fresh garlic pods - pasted in a mortar. In a bowl mix the garlic paste, salt, bit of sugar, freshly squeezed lemon juice and olive oil (all in moderation) and add to salad. I finished a whole laaarge bowl of salad with this low cal dressing which makes it juicy and yummy. Enjoy.
I also love adding pickled vegetables (cabbage, beets, carrots, peppers) to my meals to make them healthy, filling and yummy.
Don't forget - The most important ingredient of your weight loss journey is determination. (I struggle with it) but then no pain, no gain (loss in this case :-)).
