Ok heres the deal. I have been on my weight loss journey for a little over 5 weeks. I lost 9 pounds the first week. (Water I guess) Then I lost a couple the next week, but ever since I have only been losing like 1 pound here .8 there and so on. I have been counting my calories.

Any tips guys?

It sounds more like you lost abnormally high amounts the first couple of weeks and your body is starting to even out after that. A pound or .8 pound per week is a good rate of loss. Way to go!

Congrats on weight loss so far.
    Reduce your deficit.
    Maintain the process long term.
    Lose weight.

That's how it goes. It took me 3 years to lose 85 pounds, that was a lot of weeks with nothing, and a few weeks with the scale going down. Time to start focusing on non scale victories. The process will work even when you never step on the scale ever again, you will go down in clothes sizes, and if you are lifting weights you will find all sorts of empowering victories in all aspects of your life. You just need to change your focus to things not related to the body weight scale, which is such a poor tool anyway. It's only good say once a month or so, and sometimes even that often does not tell you the full story.
