I actually started my weight lost journey over 2 months ago and lost 20 lbs just by changing to a vegetarian. Giving up meat was tough but was the right thing to do at the time.
After losing the initial 20 lbs, things stopped. I then decided to count my calories and get a regular exercise routine. I have not lost any weight since I started this troup 3 weeks ago but I have lost an inch.
The key is I am thinking about my intake now and getting smarter about foods. Now I realize that although I was not eating meat I was taking in calories. Logging is always an excellent awareness tool and I feel I am back on track now.
