Calorie Counting Makes Me Nutty

As I'm putting away cereal this morning, my kid's Fruit Loops are 100 calories per 3/4 cup and my Special K Nourish is 220 calories per cup! I know mine is more nutritious but when calorie counting...I want the Fruit Loops to save my calories! Ugh. Anyone else caught in the calorie-brain-drain?

It's ok to work in the fruit loops once in awhile. Personally, I look a breakfast foods that fill me up more (overnight oats, omelets and protein bagels are my go to).0 -
I get it. Like there's something in my head which says 'to lose weight you must eat as little as possible' even though I actually need nutrients0

So have the froot loops and a multi vitamin. You don't have to be perfect every day.0

if it makes you feel better it's not a full 3/4of a cup of fruit loops...when it's weighed it's lot less but I suspect the special k would be closer to the measurement.
ETA Im with Lemon on this tho...I prefer protein for breakfast...eggs, bacon etc.1
