I eat Perfect World ice cream, which is sugar free, dairy free but yummy. I have been logging it for a while assuming that grams of ice cream were the same as ml. Eer not true, 500ml of ice cream is about 350grams.
So I've been weighing my food and logging incorrectly. Am I stupid? Anyone else get confused?
It might explain why I'm not losing weight!!

Yeah, grams and milliliters are only the same for water. But I'll never understand why some ice cream companies use mls for their measurements. Am I supposed to wait for it all to melt before I measure and eat it?5

It's not just you!
I hate that the nutritional info for ice cream is only listed in ml in my country instead of in grams, because it's hard to measure in a measuring cup and a 125 ml serving of ice cream is only 60-90 g in most cases. Which means that if you make the mistake that you did, you're overeating by quite a bit.
I always end up searching for American brands of similar ice cream with the weight listed so I can weigh it instead of measure it, because trying to fit ice cream into a half cup measuring cup seems foolish and needlessly difficult to do accurately.0
