Got knocked down, getting back up again

I first started using MFP in the summer of 2011,but stopped when I went to college. It really helped me prepare to play collegiate rugby, but tracking calories in a dining hall was futile. Just before of my final season I unfortunately developed an injury that has had me sidelined for nearly 20 months, resulting in a lot of muscle loss and weight gain. Good news is I just had the second of two surgeries to repair the damage and it's time to get back in the game.
I'm excited (albeit nervous) to rediscover my inner athlete as I start PT and get these legs working again. I'd love to get a few body positive friends so I don't feel so alone in this journey and to help keep me motivated when the going gets tough!

Dining hall food is nearly impossible to track! I have a hard enough time when I make recipes for my family and I know all of the ingredients and quantities.
Glad to hear that you have an athletic heart and mind, good luck on your journey!!0
