Do you worry about sugar?

I think unless you have a real issue, sugar is not the devil.....therefore I replaced the "sugar" option in my diary for "iron", as I find that more important to track for me.0

I used to track sugar but very rarely, if ever went over, so i swapped it out for fibre. Sodium is my undoing!
But yeah, If i regularly went over, like 100g+ then i would change something in my diet to get it back down to reasonable levels.
As for natural peanut butter, the only pro to it is that i don't tend to over do it or binge on it, as it doesn't taste so nice lol0 -

You mean you don't do blogs in which science shows how you are spectacularly wrong? Because you seem to have posted a link to a blog detailing the dangers of partially hydrogenated oil. Why do you do that blog? Is it because it happens to agree with whatever your dogma du jour is? You see, if you read the link I posted you would find many many links to the actual research detailing why HFCS is not inherently bad. But I guess because it doesn't agree with your fixed ideology then you just hand wave it away with a simple "I don't do blogs." Oh and by the way, you are still wrong.9 -

In all fairness. .. I see the bolded written here ALL the time. Blogs are accepted if they agree with the poster, but are foo fooed if they say something that don't align with posters opinions/beliefs. Double standards perhaps??

I watch sugar. I watch all carbs because they are just sugar (glucose) in the end, and too much glucose is bad for my health. And I just feel better with as little as possible.
I have to admit that I am surprised by how many people feel peanut butter needs sugar. Yuck. That seems so very wrong. It's like saying beef jerky or bacon needs sugar...0 -
I just want to add that you can lose weight without tracking sugar, obviously because CI/CO. BUT if you want to get rid of or prevent additional belly fat specifically, you have to watch added sugars. If that isn't a concern, then don't track it. I try to keep my added sugar under 25 grams a day to keep the belly fat at bay. With a body approaching 40, belly fat is my main concern and struggle.
This is a complete fabrication and flies in the face of everything we know about physics, biochemistry and anatomy.
"Added sugar" cannot make you gain/retain belly fat if you are eating at a caloric deficit. If you burn more than you eat, the fat gets burned as fuel, regardless of where it's been stored on your body. Period.0 -

If you see SUGAR in the ingredients, throw it away.
Jiffy has added table sugar. Also added oils. Jiffy is a junk food.
Jiffy makes popcorn.
Jif makes peanut butter and it's delicious and wonderful.
Oh, and no need to throw it out. Why? Because sugar isn't poison!2 -

I just want to add that your comment about belly fat is dead wrong.
Maybe you could enlighten me then? Because it seems to be working for me as my belly fat has decreased since I started being more aware of added sugars. To say that someone is "dead wrong" without a backup statement as to why is a little pointless. What did you accomplish with that comment?
Calorie deficit = less belly fat
Is your claim really that you can eat sugar in a calorie deficit and not let se belly fat?????
I was not aware that sugar negated math and physics.0
