How does PMS affect YOUR weight?

I'm due to get my period in 3 days, usually I start gaining weight DURING my period so I'm not sure why I'm gaining it before now. It's annoying that I'm so close to being in the 120's and I feel like my period just pushed me back a week at least but at the same time I feel like I'm overreacting. Maybe hearing how PMS affects other people will help me stop being so crazy about it lol. I usually only go up around 1.5-2 pounds.
By the way, before anyone says it, I know that I still lost .8 of a pound this week but that's still .7 less than usual and I exercised more this week.

Increasing weight during the premenstrual phase and peaking at the start of your period is normal.

My period starts Saturday. I'm very frustrated. Last month I didn't gain the days before.
This is a good thread on here talking about this issue. I have it book marked. I'm not sure how to post the link. Hopefully someone else will do that.
I feel your pain!
Oh and I'm weighing and measuring my food and staying in a calorie deficit.1 -

I gain 3-5lbs every period!
Totally sucks but it usually goes away in 4-5 days if I stay on track0 -
I gain anywhere between 8-12 lbs. It's just a number on the scale so I don't care much since I know it'll be back to normal within 5 days.0

I gain 4 pounds about 4 days before, and it finally comes off about 2 days after. Every freaking time.0

Usually around 4-5 lb, but this month, it was almost 7. It tends to peak about 1 or 2 days before my cycle starts.1

I have to have separate clothing just for the days leading up to, as well as the first few days of my period. I don't even mess with the scale during that time because I already know it has gone up and will go back down.0
