How often should I change my settings on mfp ? I started 50 days ago and am allowed 1760 calories per day... M 5'10" SW 269 / CW 258

How often should I change my settings on mfp ? I started 50 days ago and am allowed 1760 calories per day... M 5'10" SW 269 / CW 258
In loss mode I would log my weight once a week and MFP adjusts calories with that.
When I got down to 15lbs I changed my weekly goal to 1/2lb as I started with 1lb.
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal

MFP will automatically adjust your calories down as you lose weight. When you get within 30 pounds of your goal it might be a good idea to consider selecting a slower rate of loss.1
