    We under estimate walking as a start of the exercise that we need...it can and has for you, me and lots of people to get into a new beginning and for your Dad to accompany you also..that is so great!

    Thank you for all of the wonderful comments! The support I have received on MFP is one of the major reasons I have found success on this journey. In my loss of weight and stress, I have found increased confidence, true happiness, and have even found a wonderful man who makes me feel like a princess! So, this lifestyle change has totally transformed my life from the inside out! I couldn't have done it without the love and support of all of my MFP friends!     Such a great story. I am starting a marathon of my own, with 28 pounds gone, now. When I started I couldn't walk an 1/8th of a mile without resting. My mother came for a visit, and I was humiliated that she; at age 82, was more fit than me. congratulations on your journey, and hoping that you will make all your future goals. Blessings for the gift you are to those children.

    Congratulations, and thank you for such a great and inspiring post. I needed that motivation today!! I am on here because of my Dad. He had worried about my weight, and when he passed away last year I decided to change my future to honour him. Give your Dad a big hug from me - and keep up the fantastic work!!!
