Activity level for goals versus actual calories burned

According to a month of tracking calories burned on my Fitbit, I average just over 2000 calories burned per day. On my Goals tab, I have selected slightly active based on the descriptions of each activity level. MFP indicates at this activity level that I burn only 1750 calories per day. With a 490 calorie deficit required to meet my goal, that puts my caloric intake at only 1,260 and I regularly eat more than that. And yes, I am currently loosing about a pound a week). Should I change my activity level to the next higher one to better reflect actual calories burned?
