Belly Battle

I am 18, 5'8 and 160lbs. Most of my weight is centered in my stomach. My waist is about 37-39 inches around. I have been trying to loose the pot belly I gained from years of poor choices.

I have been biking every other day and going to the gym on the days in between. While I have gotten more muscle, I still have my same stomach sticking out. I have been likewise been trying to limit my calories to 1400 a day.

I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Are you losing weight ? You might find the belly is the last to go, annoying but all you can do is persevere.

How long have you been doing this? 90 days is usually the standard to see a visible reduction in body/belly fat.

It's not unusual for the belly to last to go in men. It's the only place I hold fat. Keep at it and it'll go soon enough

The pooch is the last to go, as you keep losing weight the belly will eventually go.

If you don't already do progressive lifting then give that a go, its great for the whole body but it really works on the core.
