Drink Plenty Of water, follow my MFB daily calorie Goal (1800) and run for an hour a day while making healthy food choices like eating fruits and vegetables? I'd really like to know. I just started today.

You just need a calorie deficit. Everything else is optional7

All you need to do to lose weight is eat less calories than you burn. If you want to eat healthy too then that's fine, but you don't have to. Personally I'm wanting a healthy lifestyle to carry on when I've lost my weight. You can also run everyday too if you want, but you don't have to. Don't feel that if you can't run one day you've ruined your weight loss just make sure you eat at a deficit (again eat less calories than you burn) Also drinking loads of water won't make you lose weight, it will hydrate you, especially when running.3

And drinking lots of water will have other benefits , you feel fuller, your system works best when fueled well and hydrated well.... & remember it wont happen overnight so dont be to hard on yourself and weigh and log everything ....In Grams2

Running will only do so much.. You can easily end up skinny fat. Strength training is the ticket to a great body. HITT cardio is more effective than running for over all body composition as well. And before you say, I DONT WANT TO GET BULKY, you wont.... You have to eat in a surplus to gain. You will still lose weight but tone as well.
BUT THE BIGGEST KEY TO THIS IS STICKING WITH IT!!!!2 -
Follow MFP. Eat all your calories. Record every single bite every single day. Never skip logging. Eat back your exercise calories. And don't kill yourself drinking water--it's possible overdo it. 64 oz (gallon) is the standard recommendation, but this includes the water in food and other drinks.1

Weight management...whether you're trying to lose, maintain, or gain is simply about energy balance...you consume a balance of energy (calories) and you maintain...you consume an excess of energy (in excess of what your body needs) that surplus is stored as body fat...you consume less energy than your body needs, body fat is oxidized to make up for that energy deficiency...body fat is just stored energy.
Everything else you mentioned is just gravy.1 -
As simple as it sounds to lose weight all you have to do is eat less calories than your body consumes. The exercise is a side benefit but you don't have to exercise to lose weight.
Just program your data into the NFP calculator and follow the guidelines it's that simple. The main thing is to weigh and log all your food and be honest as far as what you do. You don't have to eat clean, you can eat whatever you want. I still enjoy the occasional Wendy's hamburger, slice or two of pizza or a couple beers on the beach.3
