Sweet Tooth

Any ideas on how to curb a sweet tooth? I am soooo out of control and my cravings are insane around my cycle. I literally could eat an entire cake and gallon of ice cream with out a problem.

Around my period I usually allow myself an extra 200 calories (in addition to my normal calories) at the end of the day for a sweet treat. Doesn't stop the weight loss and gives me something to look forward to.

I feel the same exact way right now. Honestly I just drink a lot of water and diet soda (which helps with sugar cravings for a lot of people). Sugar free jello is a good option too because it's only 40 calories per pack and it's A LOT of jello. Leave yourself calories for snacks. Yasso frozen yogurt is good too, or skinny cow ice cream  I know its hard to have things in moderation around this time and you still want "junk food" regardless but just push through it!

Dried Cherries are like candy. Brown sugar / sweet potato... Not very many calories, yet so sweet and good. Brown sugar on anything, like oatmeal.

I love my sweets. Had to have a sweet after every meal. I decided to go cold turkey and not eat anything sweet and not add sugar (honey) in my daily oatmeal and yogurt.

First 3 weeks cravings were strong, but I'd tell myself I wasn't going to let a dang piece of candy control my life. Now I don't really crave sweets and when I eat them I find it too rich to eat much.

I love frozen dark sweet cherries or apples sliced thin and dip them in vanilla light & fit yogurt...both of those are 100-150 cals & fills me up pretty good. For a naughtier treat;) I like the blue bunny mini cones in caramel swirl for 140 cals:) not going to lie...if I have the cals I will eat two=P

Try dark chocolate. At least 75% cocoa. It's good for the heart....and soul
