I heard which I don't know if it's true but if you were to do one day or like two days a week were you juice and it's like really healthy with greens and such that that helps a lot! I haven't done it my self because I have yet to get a juicer. But you could try it. But I'm no expert!

It doesn't. Its all propaganda based on a netflix documentary. And juicing would leave me starcing but some do enjoy it since you can get a lot of nutrients in a short period of time.

Every now and again I'll take a night off from drinking. Give my liver a break.

I do agree that a 'cleanse' product or 'detox' product is a marketing scam which actually just gives people either mild toilet issues, or a VLCD to see a weight drop (which is temporary anyway!) so appear to be working.

    HOWEVER! (ooo controversial..)

Sometimes if i forget everything i have learnt along the way and seem to believe that some junk will taste as good as i remember and i just eat loads of crap. I'll have a whole day, maybe a few days of eating really badly, nothing with any nutritional value what so ever. Then obviously, i feel terrible. bloated, sluggish, constipated (or the opposite...) so a do my own version of a 'detox' for a day after to put myself back on track. To be honest that just involves eating nothing but fruit and veg and drinking lots of water for a day! pack vitamins and nutrients back into myself, get my insides working again! Maybe it's placebo, maybe it just makes me 'think' i feel better or maybe it just breaks the cycle of eating crud. Either way, it works for me!
