My weight was 202.5 in May 2016 and it is 196.2 now. I work out 30min to an hour 3-4 days a week. My question is should I have loss more weight? What am I doing wrong?

Are you weighing your food and monitoring calories in versus calories out? If you are not at a deficit you won't lose, even with exercise.

You lost 7 pounds in a month.... that's pretty good!

Other than exercise, check your calorie intake☺

Sounds like you're doing it right! Congratulations!

We are barraged with unrealistic weight loss results by the tabloids. Totally unrealistic and certainly unsustainable. Losing slow and steady is the way to go. And you're not losing that slow. Change your expectations. :)

Yes, I am weighing my food and I stay under 1400 cal. However I notice my protein intake is low , under 30g. Would that matter? should I increase my protein?

    You lost 7lbs.

I'm failing to understand the problem here.

I think a lot of people feel like they should lose 5lbs a week which is not healthy. The slower you lose (no more than 2lbs a week), the greater chance the weight will stay off. You've lost an average 1lb per week. You're doing just fine.
