OMG! I have been working out for a long time off and on. This week more off than on. I always hear how working out gives you more energy. I have to disagree. After some work outs I am tierd as heck. I will admit that the times I shy away from working out I feel cruddy but I worked out this morning and I have been lazy all day. Does anyone else feel my pain? Or can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. 21 mins of recumbent bike cycling with resistance on 13 and 20 mins on the treadmill with off and on incline up to 10 @ 3.5 mph should not hurt so bad:yawn:

if you aren't eating enough protein, working out will wipe you out!! You should be eating protein at every meal and try to time your workouts so that you have a meal after the workout.

Yeah, I feel that way when I don't eat enough.

It sounds like you're either not eating enough or not eating GOOD things or you aren't allowing enough time to recover between work outs.

I think you all are right. I have been eating good things, but i'm not sure if I am eating enough. I am only allowed 1200 cals a day plus my workouts but it is hard for me not to go over. I usually go over in my protein every day. I don't know. I worked out today and I am hurting but I actually feel o.k now. not so tired? My legs are on fire, they began to shake during my squats. Give me some good ideas on healthy meal options. I sometimes get board with the ones I choose.
    Thanks:smile:
