I've been suffering from knee pain and joint stiffness recently, and after normal blood tests, the GP suggested I stop running and get a trainer to put together an exercise programme designed to stabilise my joints and build strength. I've been to the gym and been given a programme of 10 mins cycle to warm up, 15-30 minutes on the ascent trainer on 50% incline, 3 x 12 on leg press, seated leg curl, chest press and lateral pull down, plus 3 x 10 crunches and reverse crunches, and 2 x 30s plank. All good, apart from the fact I am going away to a conference for 2 weeks and the hotel is too cheap to have a gym, although I did deliberately pick one that is a 30 min walk from the venue to keep a minimum level of exercise, and I can keep going with the crunches etc, and add some half press ups (can't do a full one). I'd like to find a video on YouTube (don't want to buy anything for two weeks) that I can actually do to give me a bit of proper cardio but is low impact. I looked at Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred, but the squats are too painful and I'd rather avoid that. Can anyone suggest anything?
