Anyone losing weight , but not inches?

I have lost a good bit of weight and still going strong. The problem I am having is I am not losing inches or my belly. Ugh ..what is up with that?

Hi. About what you said I believe that your problem is probably exercise. Losing weight can also be muscle weight instead of fat. A steady amount of exercise each day should be enough To get rid of body fat.

It's possible you're losing water weight, which won't attribute to loss of inches [unless you have so much water retention it causes bloating].

Inches have come off me unequally and at different rates of speed. As I have decreased in size, the number of pounds required to lose an inch has also decreased.

This is interesting. I believe I am experiencing something similar because I've been losing quite a bit of weight but not many inches. I was fretting at first but because my clothing have become increasingly loose, I don't sweat the inches anymore. I do have a lot of body fat on my body to reduce though so I'm not expecting my body to show inches lost that quickly - I suppose I attribute the density of body fat versus lean muscle mass to the whole inches thing.

I'm weird in that I track measurements across the whole of my body. (IIRC, I measure neck, arms, bust, ribcage, waist, hips, thighs, and calves.) In the 37 days I've been back on MFP (and *NO* exercise), I've seen a half inch here, a half-inch there, at least an inch off my hips (GOOD RIDDANCE!), etc. It's weird to see where my body is deciding to shed weight - I think it's throwing darts at a board somehow.
