I've been using MyFitnessPal (MFP) sine the middle of May and it has helped me loose c 1.5 stone. Anyway last night I bought the Fitbit charge HD from Boots, with the help of a £15 discount code from Hot Deals UK.

Having bought I Started to watch a number of videos and one of them suggested that instead of using Fitbit to enter food that it is better to use MFP as it gives you much more information and will sync that information with the Charge HD. Is that correct? I'm doing Low Carb High Fat. It is only fair to say that MFP has certainly been of tremendous help to me.

My main reason, at the moment for buying Fitbit is to help with my weight loss program and when I reach the goal help me motivated and not let the weight run away with me again

As the Fitbit won't arrive until Friday any pre-setup suggestions you have would be appreciated and how best to intergrate it with tthe Fitbit. I'll probably YouTube until then

I have found that MFP is better for logging food, definitely. I think MFP's food database is just bigger. I use my Fitbit to count steps and track calories burned mostly. good luck with the Fitbit when it comes. :)

The best thing to do is to join the Fitbit group on here and look through the FAQ pinned at the top. Since food only syncs from MFP to Fitbit, and MFP has a more superior database, it is best to log all food on here.
