Too Many Carbs First Day!

Today was my first full day, and I am already over by 6 on my carbs, and I haven't even had supper yet! Anyone have any advice/similar experiences, or have trouble limiting carbs? Thanks! Tanya:wink:

    Your diary is set to private so it's hard to see... first of all welcome and congrats on joining!!!! Yes, we ALL have this problem from time to time, don't worry, stress or freak. Look in your diary and see what seemed to be the biggest carb consumers. Were they healthy carbs? Healthy carbs would be sprouted whole grain bread for instance... Try to eat more protein and veggies and get your carbs from whole grain sources! :)

    Are you monitoring your calories as well? If so, how were those?

    Calories, as well as the other areas were OK, just not the carb area...but I think I ate too many fruit roll ups today...*sigh*...Gotta keep makin the changes!

    It's ok. That's what the diary is there for, to help us see where we need to work. I don't think that anyone has a perfect day the first day!

    Knock off that "sigh"... LOL!!! I am saying that in a joking way! :) Be proud of yourself for making changes. Heck we all have days where we have too much of something, too little of another. It's a never ending balancing act. You are on day 1 of an amazing transformation! Keep up the great work and cheers to a new beginning! :)
