Binge Eating

AAAArrrrrggggghhhhh so I am a 38 year old man recovering from the eating disorder bulimia which got me to such a huge weight in the first place......
this morning for the first time in ages I have fell off the wagon and binged something chronic, I have calorie counted everything I have eaten and I am so far over it is unreal plus I will still need to eat meals today...
why or why do I do this to myself !!!!

    It is a disorder, it is not your fault, if you cannot stop or help it seek out professional medical help.

    Are you still in treatment? Talk to you counselor.

    Can you eat light the rest of the day and lower your calories over the next couple of days so you can still have a weekly deficit? If not let it go and get back on track with your next meal.

    Hey Mike, I can relate.

    While watching a baseball game yesterday, i heard one of the announcers say that one of the best things for a player to have is amnesia - the ability to forget about a bad performance and move on. I think it applies here too. By allowing ourselves (yes, I'm a binge eater as well) to dwell on our mistakes, we risk spiraling into the mindset of "I can't do this" and "why bother?"

    We can't change the past, but we can start over. Let's do it.
