So I am slightly obsessed with not consuming all of my calories each day. Crazy really as I don't eat an awful lot.

Today I should be approx 100 cals spare at the end of the day and can't help but feel like I have failed as it should be more. Am punishing myself for certain foods I have eaten today.

How obsessive are you guys regarding staying within your calorie intake?

I should say that I weigh 60kg and so am not trying to lose weight

    What??

Why would you be obsessed with staying under your calorie goal if you aren't trying to lose weight? Do you not understand how humans lose fat?

To be honest with you I am slightly uneducated when it comes to this. I had a pt for 1 year who worked my *kitten* off and helped me lose 2 stone.

I then tried to go alone to save ££ but became slightly obsessed with eating like a rabbit in order to not gain weight. I am getting there, educating myself each day a little more and learning about macros etc

    I appreciate your message

Well then educating yourself about nutrition sounds like a good plan since you've learned about the exercise part of it.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your title and I'm unclear what else you're asking about so I don't have much more to offer.

There really isn't a lot of education needed. Eating at a deficit will lead to fat loss. If you don't want to lose fat, don't under eat.

If you are not sure of your maintenance calories start with what MFP gives you and weight yourself regularly. If you are gaining or losing after a few weeks then adjust your calorie goal accordingly (eat more if you are losing, eat less if you are gaining).

If you change your activity level you will likely need to adjust your calorie goal accordingly. (eat more if activity increases, eat less if it decreases).
