If you could have given the younger you advice...
What would it have been?
I think... No, don't get with that dude he's going to waste a large portion of your teenage years. Actually, don't get into any hardcore relationships till you're in your mid 20's. And yes, you should be more rebellious lol.
Also don't worry because alot of things you worry about will mean nothing later on.

So many things. So many. Mostly I'd just give her the hug she needed and let her cry on me and tell her she was beautiful and special and one day things would get better.
Oh and at that party ignore that Alberto guy bc he's an abusive kitten that will kitten her life up for years. And take years to recover from the mental breakdown he caused.
And when Brian came along not to screw it up bc Alberto left too many scars.
And that school she dreamed of should have stayed a dream.
But in the end it all lead me to here and I guess it was all worth it.8 -

Wear that cute bikini, and all those cute clothes you'd hide in your closet because you thought you were too fat.
You weren't.
And now after kids, your stomach will never look the same so you missed your chance to be young, and hot, and single.
Oh, and don't do drugs.6 -
Eat more and lift dumbells.

Everything's gonna be OK. Do you. Other people's perceptions, beliefs and expectations are not your problem. Don't be pushed around. Your views are just as valuable as anyone else's.5

Don't be afraid to cut your hair really short. It will look good on you.
Start lifting free weights. Cardio is NOT king! 3 months of lifting heavy will change your body like nothing else ever has (umm except pregnancy). LOL
There is no "magic pill" to weight loss.
Listen to your heart. The tough breakups are for the best and you will end up exactly with whom, when, and where you are supposed to. God's plan is perfect. Your plan sucked eggs BAD!!!4 -
From personal experience, it would be to stop trying to fit in with a certain crowd and be yourself, this way you will attract the right people into your life. Also don't be thrown off by people because of how they look, as most of the time what you think is not the case.
I could write a whole long passage on this haha!5 -
For the guys, I would also say that, do not let the bullies win. If you are called Ugly, don't let it eat you up and rot you on the inside. I am a firm believer that there is someone out there for everyone. I would also tell the youth to focus on themselves and better themselves, through reading, thinking, conversing etc.

I went into the military when I was 19 and after four years I decided that going on two combat tours was enough, I had seen all I needed to see and decided to go home after my contract was complete. If I could go back and speak to my younger self I would tell him that life outside the military is surprisingly much more difficult and harder to adjust to, just stay in the military. Now I am married, almost finished with business school and trying to have our first child but in the back of my mind I really wish that I had never left the military. Oh well... You live; You learn.5
