Strangest fitness inspirations?

Just thought this might be a fun thing to share. What is your fitness inspiration or motivation that doesn't fit the usual stereotypes of "healthy"?

We live in a country village with a foot- and cycleway that runs through woods and connects several villages to the nearest town. 4 miles away along this path is McDonald's. McDonald's, bless them, are not usually associated with health and fitness, but it makes an amazing objective for a walk or cycle. "Let's cycle to McDonald's and get an ice cream!" will get most people off the couch, and an 8 mile round trip is enough to outweigh the calories.

What about you? What motivates you to eat well or get active that would sound a little strange according to fitness orthodoxy?

While yes, I want to lose weight because I know I'm fat, and it will help me be healthier, live longer, be more active, etc...

... my motivation is that two of my best friends are supervillains, I'm going out to Michigan in October to photograph their misdeeds and mayhems, and I need to be able to outrun them.

    No, I'm not kidding.
