That doesn't sound like it should be a problem, but it is.

So far today I have eat literally 10 strawberries & 2 granola bars. Not the best choices in the world but the bars were in my purse. MFP says I consumed 279 calories. I worked out for about 45 minutes doing 10 minutes on the elliptical, a "legs" class and some leg exercises on various machines. MFP says I burned approximately 206 calories.

But I'm not hungry & that can't be good at this point.

I'm going home to eat a grilled chicken breast just to put some protein in my system but I'm a little scared. I was anorexic in college & fear my old bad ways may be creeping back. I'm hoping I'm just too hot to eat.

What I am I doing wrong?

Wish your diary was open. Sometimes when I have a binge night, I do not feel hungry the next day. Even a dinner out can do this for me. Granola bars can be full of calories, are you logging food?

If it's just one day then I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you're not hungry, don't force yourself to eat. You can see it as an opportunity to eat more tomorrow or later in the week

I thought it was. I'll double check.

I went over my calorie limit yesterday but I wouldn't say I binged, more like grazed. I logged everything except 1 milk dud. Yes, a calorie is a calorie but in the long run that one won't change much. Other than that, & on the 4th of July when I just couldn't keep track of everything because I just kept eating at a party, I have been faithful about the logging. I may have missed a glass of water hear or there. I haven't been great about weighing but I round up, not down. The 2 granola bars I ate 1 had 90 cal the other 100. That is what MFP said & it matched what was written on the bar's labels.

I ate dinner & forced myself to finish because I knew I needed fuel.

I guess I'll see how I feel in the morning.

If it's only one day here or there then i wouldn't worry about it. But if it happens regularly it will eventually catch up with you one way or another. When I undereat it usually results in a binge session.

I'm not afraid of binging. I'm not a binger. I'm afraid that I will go back to not eating & making myself sick that way.

Well its up to you to get it under control and make sure you dont slip back into bad habits.
Maybe try incorporating a meal replacement or protein powder shake into your low days, you don't need to be hungry to drink these. Peanut butter spread on an apple or celery will add some calories too.

Sometimes I go past hungry if im busy and forget, I don't find hunger a good guide for how much I should eat anymore. I think even dieting can mess with your hunger cues let alone anorexia. Maybe try planning ahead and remind yourself to eat at set times? Best of luck x

I've scheduled a meeting with a nutritionist. But I am worried because I wasn't hungry when I woke up. I ate some cheese & drank some juice before I went to the gym; then I had more cheese when I finished but I just feel bloated. What I'm eating has to be in this mix somehow.

Could you try eating different things?

Eat something that is higher calorie than grilled chicken breast.

Ditch any diet food for the full fat stuff.

And see a doctor. How long have you not had an appetite for?

you said you went over calories just yesterday so it doesn't seem like a pattern. Sometimes you just don't have much of an appetite for any number of reasons.. I wouldn't stress it unless you don't feel like eating for a few days.
