Hi there.
I am 38. 202lbs, 5.0 ft. Starting weight was 215. Already feeling good. I will be honest, I hate to exercise! The one thing I have going for me is that I actually like veggies and lean proteins. But, I love sweets and have a hard time not having those days where I just bing.
Also, my hubby is a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy, he doesn't like healthy eating, so that's a challenge. But, he is supportive of my wanting to live a healthier lifestyle. So, it's up to me to stay motivated everyday. I would love some friends to help keep me encouraged and motivated and accountable.
I have used MFP in the past and of course it works, just need to keep it fresh and exciting!

Hi! we have pretty similar stats! Sending you a friend request. I just got going again a couple weeks ago (weekend's have been challenging though) and am starting to make some progress. I am grateful that my family does well on whatever I make them so I can cook pretty healthy and just watch my portion sizes. Great job on your loss so far!1

Thank you!
Weekdays are easy (easier) for me because I only eat what I bring to work. I try my best to ignore the temptation when co-workers or clients bring in sweet treats.
Weekends are the hardest for me too. We are always on the go and like to treat ourselves to eating out.
I agree, portion control is key!

Congratulations on your weight loss! If you don't like exercising, maybe you just can add some walks, that would help you with weight loss. Keep up the good work!

I actually really like the walk at home videos from Leslie Sansone. I get a really good sweat with the 45 minute video. I am trying to aim for 3 times a week. Unfortunately I can only find time at about 4am in the morning before I start my day. But I have to say, it really pumps me up and keeps me energized all day.0

Weight loss is DIRECTLY from CICO. Even if you don't exercise, burn more than you consume and you'll lose weight. Where most people fail is that they attempt a calorie restriction that's too high for them (everyone for some reasons shoots for 2lbs loss a week) then quit when they have a bad couple of weeks.
Eat less that you burn. Even if it's only a 250 calorie deficit each day to start.
