Motivation & tips welcome!!!

I have been gaining weight for 3 years since I got with my boyfriend. I am now up to 10 stone . Wanna lose about a stone and a half. I may not be over weight but I am uncomfortable in myself and don't they say love yourself before you love anyone else! Started using the gym but find it a hard slog. Just trying to find love for the gym and trying to eat a bit better! Any tips and motivation / support would be great!!
