I'm too embarrassed to join a gym. I live in Japan and everyone is skinny. I'm scared what people might think/my mom making fun of me trying to loose weight and making fun of me that I'm fat. I tried those at home workout but they never work out. I want to try swimming. I lost 2 kg so far but I need motivation and a plan I want to loose 30 lb.

Get yourself in the gym Hun.! I honestly can't believe that anyone in the gym will make fun of you....everyone will be there looking to peruse similar goals! Just remember, you will only walk in for the first time once!!!

I joined a new gym this week, and whilst I am a regular gym goer, changing gyms was a huge step for me as I like familiarity. I have started going there at quiter times when I know not many other people will be there...then I can explore more comfortably.

Hold you head high and forget about what others may tjink

Everyone has to start where they are. Try not to compare yourself to others at the gym (I know it's hard - I used to do it all the time). You'll be so proud of yourself when you finish a workout.

Sorry to hear about your struggles. If you want to try swimming you should definitely do that! It's a great way to burn calories. I felt similar to you when I first started my journey. I will say, that it's very possible to create a calorie deficit (the only way to lose weight) without exercise. If you focus on improving your diet and your mentality first then everything else will get easier. I focused only on my diet and "attitude" for 2 months, by the 3rd month I was dying to start exercising and excited about it. I wish you luck on your journey!

Going to a gym is like the first day at a new school when you were young. You think everyone is staring at you but they are not. Just work up a "I don't give a *kitten* attitude" and go.

    Try HIIT workouts at home.

    (High Intensity Interval Training)

It seriously does work and fast. I typically do 20 to 30 minute sessions but you could do more.

I think in Japan people are more critical of other people who are overweight... But you can do it!
Japan has so many healthy food options too... I wish I could eat Japanese sashimi , healthy and good?
Do swimming if you like it. But you could join a gym and put your headphones on and workout and ignore anyone who is negative.
    Log everything you eat.
    You can do it.

Try Esforta. I like it much better than Tipness.
