Hi there
I'm too fat for my wedding suit. I need to shed 18.5 lbs in 30 days, is that possible? I eat a lot, especially at night. Sometimes I wake up with my head inside the fridge. I like working out, though. :)

I agree with the above. Also Google "FAA meal plan". It's for food addicts but I've actually found that it's just a great layout of what to eat and how much. You do need a food scale. I followed it closely for awhile and lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks. But it doesn't allow any sugar or refined carbs. Good luck!

Thanks so much for your comments - I've heard good things about the LCHF diet and think I'll give it a try.

Yeah, try a low carb, high fat plan, I just started it this Monday and I'm already down 3 pounds in two days. Can't wait for my results at the end of first week. Good luck.

Nighteater, wishing you the best of luck! You have a great reason and you can do it. Hopefully you don't end up Hangry and single! JK... I've tried the low carb and it worked for me. Here's an alternative... It takes 3,500 calories to lose a pound. So know your BMR and estimate low on the calories burned - I think gym equipment "gives" you extra. Then subtract what you eat. You need to have a 63,000 calorie deficit to hit your goal or 2,100 per day. Would love to hear how you do - will send request.

AMvilla, thank you, also for the calculations. Hopefully I won't end up single... Starting up as per today. Here goes...

Exactly what amvilla said. I'm down 59 lbs since Feb 1st doing just that. Know your limits! You can look up calorie calculator on the net.

Justn83: 59 lbs in 5½ months... Way to go! Gives me hope.

Eat appropriately and do some form of cardio like running.
