Ever Want To Compare Your Foods' Values? Well, I do.
> I wonder how the calories in one kind of nuts compare to another's.
> I wonder which nut has the fewest calories.
> I wonder which nut has the greatest fat content.
> I wonder how one vegetable's carbs compare to another vegetable's.
> Sometimes, I want to compare the sugars in the vegetables.
> I even want to know how one food compares to another -- like to answer, "I only have ___ number of calories left that I can have; should I have ___ (fruit) or ___ vegetable?" or "I need more carbs. Which fruit or vegie has the most?"

Well, it can sometimes be a bit more difficult if we don't have the exact measurements of the food items being compared. That's where this information may come in handy. It also may have items in it that you have never tried, so you can use it for ideas.

I have gathered a lot of information based on these items:
  • almost all are in their raw, original state
  • if they are not in their raw, original state, I noted this the best I could.
  • all are measured at 10 grams

I have not done meats, and I do not claim the list is perfect, but did the best research I could, because I wanted it to be perfect.

To access the lists, you will have to go into my recipes at this address, if you can access it: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/meal/mine

THE LIST IS NOT IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER! . . . and it is not exhaustive.

Sorry -- you'll have to sift through my recipes, although there are few. Look for "Fruits," "Nuts & Seeds," and "Vegetables."

Check it out and see if the lists are helpful.

(If this doesn't work, please let me know. Thank you!)
