Difference in package calories and scanned calories

I was thinking of having a Lean Cusine pizza tonight for dinner and pulled one that fit in my budget, to allow me some snacks later tonight. The package says 340 calories, yet when I scanned it, it pops up 390. Not a huge difference and I do have exercise calories if need be, but never had this happen before. I went to their website and it states 340. If this happens again with something else, which one is accurate? I know it says for 170 g, and have yet to ever get one close to the package serving size, usually 20 g less.

Package is more accurate in my opinion than any random entry I found elsewhere. In addition you have 2 valid sources stating 340 - so go with the 340.1

It's not uncommon for companies to tweak their products, resulting in different macros and/or calories.
Go by what the package states. It's likely that this particular item was 390 calories when someone made the database entry, and Lean Cuisine has since made changes, lowering the calories.

It's happened to me a few times....but as you said, the difference isn't that much so I wouldn't sweat it.0
