Gym workout suggestions/new friends?

Am currently 374 lbs and have just started getting active within the last month. Walking at least 5000 steps a day as well as 2 20 minute walking sessions at work. Multiple flights of stairs so this does get my heart rate up!
I joined Planet Fitness and am wondering what besides cardio should I focus on at the gym? Was hoping for a suggestion regarding circuit training with their weight machines. Am just starting out however I want to build back muscle tone to help replace the fat
Tried some Google searches and YouTube as well and I could not find anything tailored for the obese beginner. Any and all help appreciated!
Am always looking for new friends for motivation so feel free to add me here! Using the Garmin vivoactive HR and loving it. You can add me on Garmin Connect as well. Username: Arctos_Neofelis

Congratulations on your decision to get more healthy!
You will hear it a thousand times here. Your weight loss journey starts and ends with nutrition. Make sure you have a negative calorie balance or all your workout efforts won't produce the changes you want. Your focus should be here, and just keeping your body moving. Walking is an awesome start.
If you do decide to hit the weights, keep it simple. 5x5 is an awesome way to start.
My last thought. It sounds like you're making many changes all at once. This is often a recipe for burnout. Pay attention to this. If it starts to feel overwhelming, narrow your focus to good nutrition and walking. You'll keep losing weight and gaining confidence. Good luck!2
