Make a BLT for under 260 calories

I really love BLT's and now that I'm watching what I eat, I can't just go over to the deli and get a huge bagel with mounds of bacon and mayo on it.

I found a really good way of satisfying that BLT craving using real bacon and real mayo without loading up on all the calories.

Recipe:

100 calorie flat-bread, I use Orowheat Sandwich Thins - 100 cal
2 strips of bacon - 80 cal
2 teaspoons mayo - 60 cal
Tomato slice - 10 cal
Some lettuce - 4 cal

Obviously this is not going to be as huge as other BLT's that you can get in a deli but it's just as delicious and under 300 calories which is definitely a win.

Sometimes this is all you need to satisfy that BLT craving!! I like BSTs myself (Spinach instead of lettuce) and I would add some mushed avocado instead of mayo... Again just me though! :-) Sounds yummy! I want a bite!!!

Yum! Avocado is definitely a great substitute for the mayo.

Have you tried using turkey bacon? I usually eat that instead of pork bacon. That will help you cut even more calories.
